Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Castle Africa Safari. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Booking and Payments

1.1 Reservation

  • A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the safari departure date.
  • If booking within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

1.2 Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or mobile money services (additional transaction fees may apply).
  • All payments should be made in USD or Tanzanian Shillings unless otherwise agreed.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 60 days before departure – Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • 30–59 days before departure – 50% refund of the total amount paid.
  • Less than 30 days before departure – No refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, no-shows, or unused services.

2.2 Cancellation by Castle Africa Safari

  • We reserve the right to cancel a safari due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or safety concerns).
  • In such cases, we will offer a full refund or reschedule the tour at no additional cost.

3. Travel Documents & Insurance

  • Clients must have a valid passport, visa, and any required vaccinations before traveling.
  • It is mandatory for all travelers to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal liability.

4. Changes to Itinerary

  • We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, park regulations, or safety reasons.
  • If changes occur, we will provide alternative arrangements of equal or higher value.

5. Responsibilities & Liabilities

  • Castle Africa Safari is not liable for injuries, illnesses, delays, or loss of property during the trip.
  • Clients participate in activities at their own risk and must follow all safety guidelines provided by our guides.
  • We are not responsible for additional costs due to delays, force majeure, or third-party service failures (e.g., airlines, hotels).

6. Wildlife & Safari Rules

  • Clients must follow park regulations, respect wildlife, and avoid littering in national parks.
  • Our guides have the authority to adjust schedules or activities for safety reasons.
  • Feeding or approaching wildlife is strictly prohibited.

7. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Any complaints must be reported immediately to the tour guide or company representative.
  • If a resolution is not reached, a formal complaint should be submitted in writing within 14 days after the tour.
  • Any disputes will be resolved under Tanzanian law.

8. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and ensure that your personal data is secure and not shared with third parties without your consent.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a safari with Castle Africa Safari, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
